Skin Integrity and Wound Care through the Lens of CARF Accreditation

This discussion will focus on CARF's Skin Integrity and Wound Care standards and will include a review of the standards, examples of conformance to the standards, common challenges and clarifications of standard interpretation. We will also discuss examples of innovative approaches to demonstrating conformance to these standards and explore how nursing leadership can engage with creators of electronic health records to facilitate the data collection and analysis required for conformance to these standards and seek input from audience members on what parts of the standards can be clarified during this symposium.
