In response to the COVID 19 pandemic and the continued public health emergency, the accelerated use of telehealth technologies among rehabilitation and habilitation professionals has promoted the need for evidence based tools to continue to provide home based services to meet emerging telehealth standards of care. The leaders of the Telehealth Task Force will present current practice, research and resources for implementation of home based telehealth services.

Learning Objectives:

1. Upon completion, participants will be able to identify at least three evidence-based evaluation tools that can support their telehealth practice.
Upon completion, participants will be able to describe at least two strategies to engage clients/caregivers during telehealth sessions for effective outcomes
Upon completion, participant will be able to identify at least one online resource for best practice guidelines for their own rehabilitation profession (e.g., speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, physical therapy).
Upon completion, participant will be able to identify the elements of implementing an evidence based home based rehabilitation service
