This session will describe important factors and promising practices for return to school after TBI across levels of injury severity and how COVID 19 public health mitigation measures affected this process. Two programs currently funded by the CDC-Return to School Eligibility Assessment will describe the components of their programs that can lead to improved care for children.

The learner will be able to describe the typical management of TBI in children across healthcare and school settings.
The learner will be able to identify factors to improve communication between healthcare settings and schools.
The learner will be able to describe promising practices for return to school programs following TBI.
The learner will understand how the COVID Pandemic affected return to school practices.
