This session will focus on issues at the nexus of Racial Justice, Disability Justice & Health Justice. Join us as we discuss centering the priorities and perspectives of those most impacted by health inequities caused by medical ableism and racism. People of color with disabilities are habitually harmed when interacting with medical systems which is why we will aim to explore recognition/remedies of past harms and collective corrections within current practices. In doing so, participants will be ideally encouraged to reimagine rehabilitative medicine, health, healing and a more equitable future.
