I earned my bachelor’s in health studies with an emphasis in public and community health and am currently working towards my MPH in Epidemiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center. I am a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), with a passion and love for public health, research, data management, and improving healthcare all around. I have 5+ years of professional healthcare experience as a patient advocate in healthcare navigation, public health research, and political advocacy for a non-profit organization. I started at UT Southwestern medical center as a Clinical Data Specialist performing data collection for the North Texas Burn Rehabilitation Model System, and quickly moved up to Research Study Coordinator to further my contributions and maintenance of an expansive repository of patient, injury, and long-term outcomes data for the Burn Model System.
