Isabelle Brew has been a wound and ostomy nurse for 5 years. She previously worked at as a neuro-ENT nurse at Loyola University Medical Center and as a step-down neuro ICU nurse at Northwestern Central DuPage Hospital. She started her career as an inpatient wound and ostomy nurse at Central DuPage Hospital. Isabelle developed an interest in wound care while working at Loyola and encountering a wide variety of patients and situations. She became fully certified in 2018. Isabelle is a member of the Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing Society (WOCN) and volunteers in the professional engagement committee and professional education committee at the local level. Isabelle is a graduate of UIC and Lewis University. She started working at Shirley Ryan Ability Lab as certified wound ostomy continence nurse (CWOCN) in January 2020.
