Colleen Johnson, is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy, and Senior Physical Therapist at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. Colleen has worked in the Spinal Cord Innovation Center since 2017, and specializes in the treatment of patients with traumatic and non-traumatic spinal cord injuries. Colleen is the organizational leader of the Allied Health Skin Care Champions committee at SRALab. In this role, Colleen has worked with organizational leaders to increase knowledge in pressure injury management, and has lead numerous initiatives to reduce the incidence of hospital acquired pressure injuries at SRAlab. Colleen also serves as a Research Physical Therapist for Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital.
Colleen has earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Shenandoah University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.
