Jo Tapper, MBA, is Vice President, Marketing and Communications with the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, Tapper provides leadership for the marketing and public relations team and serves as a member of the senior management team for the neurorehabilitation hospital. Before joining Shepherd, Tapper served as executive director of cardiovascular strategy and professional services for Piedmont Healthcare, where she oversaw cardiovascular business strategy and growth, program development, clinical research, and continuing medical education across the health system. Tapper has also served in leadership at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and as a healthcare consultant for academic and community providers around the country. She received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Virginia.
