Salmah Anim, MBBS, MRehabMed, is an Assistant Professor in Rehabilitation Medicine at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). She teaches Rehabilitation Medicine to undergraduate medical students and postgraduate Orthopaedic trainees. Her main interest lies in neurorehabilitation, especially in the stroke and spinal cord injury population. Her training includes an undergraduate medical degree in IIUM and she subsequently received a Masters in Rehabilitation Medicine from University of Malaya. She has had 12 years of clinical experience working throughout Peninsular Malaysia. Her interest lies in post acute neurorehabilitation. She is also passionate to educate medical students and junior doctors in integrating early rehabilitation into medical care.
