I conducted a prospective research study, was involved in research at the VA hospital and published an article on medications to avoid in the elderly.
I joined Abbott/Abbvie in 2007 first supporting cardiovascular disease then neuroscience in 2011 and have supported several research and new drug applications and launches. I have led numerous key initiatives, leadership roles, and contributed significantly to neuroscience development pipeline. I have been Clinical Study Lead for numerous clinical trials (several PD studies, schizophrenia, Alzheimer’s, progressive supranuclear palsy, and stroke study) and prepared study guidance documents. I have collaborated on posters and manuscripts on spasticity, cervical dystonia and advanced PD caregiver burden. I am responsible for contributing to the development of medical strategy, executing projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. I effectively communicate critical scientific and medical data and strategy to key internal and external stakeholders, maintaining in-depth knowledge of Spasticity and Movement Disorders. Lastly, I always put the patient and their safety first.
