Laura Olitsky, MSPT, DPT, COS-C: Laura graduated from Arcadia University with a Master’s degree in physical therapy in 1995, and advanced to a Doctorate degree in 2013. She has worked within the Cleveland Clinic for over 25 years, and has more than 20 years of management experience. Prior to joining the Cleveland Clinic Home Health team in 2015, she was recognized by the Ohio Occupational Therapy Board for involvement in OT practice. She was also nominated for the Cleveland Clinic Nursing Alliance award for her collaboration with nursing during a research project involving the use of a tool to measure patient engagement. In 2013, she presented a lecture on Acute Rehabilitation in Stroke – Bring It Forward at the Acute Neurological Conference. She has also served as a guest lecturer at Cleveland State University on the topic of Overview of the Inpatient Payment System. Since joining the Cleveland Clinic Home Health team, she participated in the Ohio Hospital Association's Annual Quality Summit in 2017 through the presentation of a poster abstract entitled Cleveland Clinic Home Care Reduction of Readmissions to Fairview Hospital. Finally, she served as a guest lecturer in 2018 speaking at the Oncology Rehabilitation for the Acute Care Rehabilitation Specialist conference on the topic of Palliative & Hospice Considerations for the Rehabilitation Specialist. She currently serves as a Rehabilitation Manager for Cleveland Clinic Home Health.
