Aya Williams is a clinical psychology postdoctoral scholar in the Dyslexia Center at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) . Her research focuses on cognitive and socio-emotional processing in bilingual children and families. She completed her clinical psychology internship in the Hyperactivity Attention and Learning Problems (HALP) Clinic at UCSF under the mentorship of Dr. Linda Pfiffner. During her PhD in Psychology, she was awarded the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship and American Psychological Association (APA) Junior Scientist Fellowship to conduct research on bilingualism and self regulation in children of immigrant families.
