Kelly Trevino is an occupational therapist working in the acute setting, with a primary focus and training in ECMO, heart transplant, lung transplant, and advanced heart failure. She received her Master of Occupational Therapy from Eastern Michigan University and her post professional Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from New York University. Her clinical graduate work was centered around building a stronger rehabilitation professional presence in the cardiac ICU, and educating others through professional community and hospital-based leadership opportunities. She is currently developing a line of clothing for patients with LVAD, and is continuing to develop her skills in research and patient care outside of the acute setting.
