I am currently a Data Analyst in the Department of Rehabilitation and Human Performance at Mount Sinai and am a PhD Candidate at the Icahn School of Medicine in the Clinical Research Program with a concentration on Clinical Trials. My dissertation is titled: "Pain after Neurotrauma: a comparative approach in model selection between literature-guided hierarchical regression and machine learning". As lead statistician on a multidisciplinary team within the Department of Rehabilitation and Human Performance, I work with clinicians, researchers, and partnering mHealth (mobile health) start-ups to develop research protocols and devise statistical analysis plans for emerging mHealth and other biotechnologies seeking regulatory approvals or clearances (e.g., FDA).
