Sina Safayi, DVM, PhD, has over two decades of experience in various roles focused on STEM research and education across Iran, Denmark, Japan, and multiple US states. Sina has 31 peer-reviewed publications in addition to over 140 abstracts, invited talks, and presentations on various topics ranging from animal and biomedical sciences to workforce development and global mobility. Sina has founded and led two offices at medical districts in Houston and Chicago in the US and one office at Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University in Japan, where he developed and instituted programs to foster career and professional development of early-career scientists.
