Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist

Romana Popara Dymkoski, DO, is a staff physician in the Consultation-Liaison Service in the Department of Psychiatry at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, where she serves as Leader for the Subcommittee: Pharmacological Strategies For Agitation in Patients with Traumatic Brain Injury, as part of the larger multi-disciplinary CSMC Quality Improvement Project to Create a Multimodal Protocol for the Management of Agitation in Patients Admitted with a Traumatic Brain Injury. She is double board certified in general psychiatry and consultation-liaison psychiatry. Dr. Dymkoski graduated with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in both English Literature and Biology, and went on to earn her medical degree and a Masters in Public Health from Nova Southeastern University. She completed psychiatry residency in San Francisco in the California Pacific Medical Center program, where she was chief resident of the consultation-liaison service, before she moved on to complete a consultation-liaison fellowship at the University of California Los Angeles program. Dr. Dymkoski has expertise in both inpatient and outpatient psycho-oncology, as well as neuro-psychiatry, through both clinical practice as well as teaching. She previously presented at the 2019 ACLP Annual Conference and has been a member of ACLP since 2018; she is happy to be presenting for the first time at the ACRM conference.
