Davide is cofounder and CEO of Sensoria Health. The vision of the company is that garments and footwear will become the next ultra-personal wearable computers.
Sensoria designs, develops, and commercializes sensor infused bio-sensing wearable garments connected by remote patient monitoring cloud and mobile software solutions.
Davide is a former Microsoft partner level Executive with over thirty years of product management, marketing, and enterprise sales experience. He joined Microsoft in 1987 as an intern and started in the International Product Group (IPG) working on MacWorks and MacOffice. He held multiple leadership roles both in USA and Italy. More recently he has served as General Manager of the Health Solutions Group where he was in charge of product strategy for both HealthVault and the Amalga product line.
Sensoria Health in conjunction with Dr. David Armstrong at USC Keck School of Medicine and Dr. Bijan Najafi at Baylor College of Medicine are collaborating on a Diabetic Foot Ulcer Patient focused NIH R01 funded clinical trial to monitor and understand the importance of patient activity and patient adherence to mechanical offloading protocol leveraging Sensoria’s smart boot remote patient monitoring technology to reduce risk of amputation.
In a study published by University of Sherbrooke in Canada, Sensoria smart socks were compared to gait lab tools in collecting, monitoring and comparing spatio-temporal parameters of gait. The Sensoria system proved to have equal or better accuracy than gold standard gait lab systems in calculating these parameters at different gait speeds.
Sensoria has developed a full human augmentation platform comprised of proprietary textile pressure sensors, microelectronics, AI, algorithms, mobile applications and cloud infrastructure enabling footwear and clothing to convert data into actionable information for patients and clinicians remotely and in near real time. We are the leading developer of remote patient monitoring wearables that helps improve patient’s lives.
