Dana Gentile, OTR/L, ATP, AIT, is the assistive technology clinical specialist at Carolinas Rehabilitation in Charlotte, North Carolina. In 2013, Dana earned her OT degree from Utica College in Utica, NY. She has ten years of experience working with the neurologic patient population with a specific focus on spinal cord injury and neurodegenerative disease. She was certified through RESNA as a Assistive Technology Professional. Dana also has a passion for adaptive fitness methodology, concepts, and exercises as she obtained her adaptive and inclusive training certificate. She spent the beginning of her career working with pediatrics and specializing in vestibular rehabilitation at an outpatient setting in upstate, NY. She volunteers locally in North Carolina advocating for those who are underserved and without access to equipment. She is a member of NCOTA, AOTA, ASCIP, ATIA and RESNA.
