David Victorson is licensed psychologist and Professor of Medical Social Sciences at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine where he leads the Consciousness in Health Research Lab (www.consciousnessinhealth.org). He is also Research Associate Director at the Cancer Survivorship Institute at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center. He conducts research focusing on improving quality of life and wellbeing for people affected by cancer, with a focus on young adults. He is Co-Founder and Executive Director of True North Treks, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting young adults and caregivers affected by cancer through connecting with nature, peers, and mindful awareness practices.
