Caitlin Deom, PT, DPT is a Therapy Manager at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab and a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy. In her current role, Caitlin manages an interdisciplinary team, orchestrates logistics surrounding delivery of patient care, works on various department-specific and organization-wide projects, and provides interventions to patients at the inpatient setting. She has held a variety of roles including: staff physical therapist, part-time research therapist, gait specialist, and now therapy manager. Caitlin’s clinical experience includes over 9 years of practice specializing in the management of stroke and brain injury patients. She has a specific clinical interest in high-intensity gait training within neurologic patient populations.
