Susan H. Lin, ScD, OTR/L, FAOTA, FACRM is an occupational therapist and health scientist. Dr. Lin is the former Research Director of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and currently is affiliated with Marymount University's Center for Optimal Aging. She serves on the Clinical Trials Advisory Panel for the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute. Her research interests include patient-centered outcomes research, stroke rehabilitation, rehabilitation treatment specification, and health services research.
Dr. Lin’s past leadership positions include Virginia Representative to AOTA Representative Assembly; Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) Clinical Effectiveness and Decision Science Advisory Panel member, Mentor Reviewer, Merit Reviewer, Ambassador; President of Pi Theta Epsilon, and Vice-President of the Virginia Occupational Therapy Association. Dr. Lin has received the Outstanding Occupational Therapy Alumni Award from Boston University, and the Fellow Award, from the American Occupational Therapy Association, as well as the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine.
