I am an occupational and physical therapist and Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy. The majority of career has been as a therapist on the spinal cord unit at the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab. In this position, I provide occupational and physical therapy to optimize individuals’ independence and provided ongoing patient education. I have recently become the Clinical Educator for the Spinal Cord Innovation Center to provide ongoing mentoring and support to Staff Development. Treating clinically as both an occupational and physical therapist and within my role as Clinical Educator, I can promote strong collaboration with all disciplines and carryover of skills. My clinical experience and passion align with ongoing staff and patient education in spinal cord specific topics.
