Dr. Jennifer Sippel is a licensed clinical psychologist and has worked for Veterans Health Administration for over twenty years. She has held research, clinical, and administrative leadership positions in the areas of Spinal Cord Injuries & Disorders (SCI/D) and Patient Centered Care. She currently serves as National Outcomes Director for VHA’s SCI/D National Program Office. She led the design, testing, build and implementation of the VHA SCI/D Registry algorithm/phenotype. She is currently the health informatics, research, planning, and policy lead for the VHA SCI/D System of Care. She is co-PI for a five-year funded study examining SCI/D Annual Evaluation utilization and outcomes, and partners with VHA and non-VHA program evaluation and research groups leveraging SCI/D data.
