Dr. Elina Talis is a Psychology Fellow in the Rusk Rehabilitation Department at NYU Langone Health, where she works under the supervision of Dr. Joseph Rath. She graduated from William James College with a degree in Clinical Psychology and an emphasis in neuropsycholpgy. Her background as a bilingual and bicultural individual has shaped her research interests. Her current program of research aims to understand the impact of culture and language on moderate to severe TBI recovery and evaluate whether multicultural and/or multilingual individuals with TBI are adequately provided with resources throughout their recovery. She has presented at state and national rehabilitation psychology and neuropsychology conferences, and is the Incoming Science Chair for APA 2022 and is involved in planning and Continuing Education Committees.
