Director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine
Baltimore, Maryland, United States
Dr. Celnik is an established leader in the field of neurological rehabilitation. I have widely recognized expertise in neurorehabilitation, neurophysiology, and motor behavior after stroke. In particular, my scientific career has focused on motor learning studies and investigations related to facilitating recovery of motor function after stroke. I am also the director of the Rehabilitation Precision Medicine Center of Excellence at Johns Hopkins, where we have assembled an interdisciplinary team of clinicians, researchers, and staff to shift rehabilitation after stroke from a “one size fits all” model of care toward precision rehabilitation. We have compiled a database of more than 13,000 patients and collect prospective mobility, cognitive, and psychosocial data on persons post-stroke who receive care at the Johns Hopkins Medicine.
I do not have any relevant financial / non-financial relationships with any proprietary interests.
