Teresa Jacobson Kimberley, PhD, PT, is Professor and Director of the Brain Recovery Lab, in the Department of Physical Therapy in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA. She also serves as the Director of the PhD program in Rehabilitation Science and is a core faculty member in the Center for Neurotechnology and Neurorecovery and research staff in the Department of Neurology at Mass General Hospital and at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. Her lab’s focus is to understand the pathophysiology of motor impairment and develop novel rehabilitation interventions for neurologic disorders, including dystonia and stroke. Dr Kimberley is recognized as an international expert in the use of neuromodulation to explore and treat neurologic diseases including stroke.
