Zachary C. Crump has served as an inpatient rehabilitation Physical Therapist for 12 years and currently functions as the Locomotor Specialist at the Sheltering Arms Institute in Richmond, VA. Zach received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University in 2010 and became a board-certified neurologic clinical specialist (NCS) in 2015. He was awarded the John L. "Jack" Echternach research award from the American Physical Therapy Association- Virginia in 2021 and also serves as adjunct faculty in Hampton University's Doctorate of Physical Therapy program. He has presented multiple posters/symposia on knowledge translation initiatives and clinical research that has included extra FES cycling during inpatient rehabilitation, use of advanced rehabilitation technology for optimal stepping dosage for persons with stroke, and on use of specialty therapy roles during inpatient rehabilitation. He lives with his wonderful wife and 4 amazing children in Richmond, VA.
