Associate Professor
Aarhus University Hospital, Denmark
Lisa Wu is an Associate Professor in the Aarhus Institute of Advanced Studies at Aarhus University in Denmark and is a part of the Unit for Psycho-Oncology and Health Psychology. She is also Adjunct Assistant Professor at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Trained as a clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist, she channeled her years of experience working as a clinician in rehabilitation psychology into her research with cancer patients. Over the years, she has researched the nature, severity and mechanistic underpinnings of side- and late-effects of cancer and its treatment, with the goal to develop effective interventions. This work has led her to become interested in circadian rhythms in cancer patients, and particularly light therapy as a potential treatment for side- and late-effects of cancer.
