Elizabeth Filkins is a graduate of the Aquinas College POHI/Conductor-Teacher training program where she earned her initial Michigan teaching certifications in Elementary Education and POHI (Physical or Other Health Impairment), as well as a conductor-teacher certification from the International Pető Insitute in Budapest, Hungary. Upon graduating in 2008, she began her career as a conductive education professional specializing in education-based rebahilitation programming for individuals with motor disorders at the Conductive Learning Center of North America (CLC) in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She is currently a senior conductor-teacher and the Assistant Program Director for the organization.
