Dr. Cheng is an assistant professor at City of Hope, Orange County in California and is the first physical medicine and rehabilitation physician in the institution. She completed a cancer rehabilitation fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (UT MDACC) following PM&R residency and Loma Linda University Health in California. Her clinical and research interests include: exercise for cancer patients, prehabilitation, neurological-based rehabilitation, head and neck cancer rehabilitation, and palliative rehabilitation. She is leading efforts with the AAPM&R Cancer Rehabilitation Physician Consortium (CRPC) research subgroup and education subgroup. She plans to expand the field of cancer rehabilitation.
