Heidi Schneider is Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse and Physician Navigator for Business Development at PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Denver. Heidi has over 13 years of nursing experience, specifically with acute brain injury and spinal cord patients. She has been involved in several research committees involving sleep and traumatic brain injury and included in several publications in the Brain Injury Professional Journal and Brain Injury Journal. In 2020 Heidi was part of an oral presentation on Disorders of Consciousness: The Implementation of Guideline Recommendations for Interdisciplinary Clinical Rehabilitation Practice at the American Brain Injury 2020 Conference. In 2015, Heidi was awarded the Charles W. Haynes Pay It Forward Fellowship. The Fellowship recognizes promising new professionals that best promote the North American Brain Injury Society’s mission of advancing brain injury treatment and outcomes through innovative clinical research and/or policy initiatives. She was invited to present at the North American Brain Injury Society (NABIS) Annual Conference in Tampa Bay, Florida. Outside the hospital, Heidi is involved in the Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado. Her passion is supporting children with epilepsy and brain injury patients and their families.
