Chelsea Steinberg is a graduate of both Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree programs in occupational therapy at University of New Hampshire, and completed an AOTA accredited residency program at the University of Chicago Medical Center. She has has been providing occupational therapy services over the last 9 years, first at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and most recently was hired as the Assistant Unit Supervisor of Occupational Therapy for Inpatient Rehabilitation at NYU Langone/Rusk Rehabilitation. Chelsea has experience in adult inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient rehabilitation. Her work in occupational therapy has focused on evaluation and treatment of adult neurologic populations, including those with TBI, Stroke, Parkinson's Disease and most recently, patients with post COVID-19 sequelae. Chelsea works closely with Dr. Joan Toglia and has co-authored articles and textbook chapters about The Multicontext Approach. In addition, she teaches continuing education courses on acute care/ICU cognitive evaluation and treatment and has presented at many national conferences, including a virtual AOTA webinar on COVID-19 and Cognition. She also is an adjunct professor at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY, teaching a course on cognition for the OT graduate program.
