I am Professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC). I am further Director of the Exercise Neuroscience Research Laboratory, and member of the Integrative Physiology Laboratory. Over the past 2 decades, I have focused on five primary lines of research involving physical activity, including exercise training, and its promotion among persons with MS. These lines of research include foci on physical activity rates, measurement, determinants, consequences, and behavior change interventions, and has accounted for over 300 of my 650+ publications.
