Ann Van de Winckel is Assistant Professor in the Divisions of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science, in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, in the Medical School of the University of Minnesota. She is also the Director of the Brain Body Mind Laboratory at the University of Minnesota. The main research focus of her lab is to investigate the brain mechanisms of how body awareness in physical therapy as well as mind and body approaches may work to improve health and well-being of people with chronic diseases and chronic pain.
