Recently, the benefits of nature and the environment have been hot topics. This presentation surveys the health promoting effects of nature and explores the concept of biophilia. Next, it defines horticultural therapy and looks at its applications in a rehabilitation setting. Lastly, recommendations to utilize natural settings and nature-based exercises to impact health and well-being are offered.
