Recent research has suggested non-pharmacological adjuncts like Virtual Reality (VR) have become an increasingly important option for effective pain management. Given the emergence of new VR technology, and the growing body of research surrounding VR and pain management, clinicians managing acute and chronic pain are encouraged to learn about this new innovative technology. Translating research into practice will be demonstrated using patient case studies.
