Gaurang Patel is a highly energetic passionate leader who strives at combining both conventional and innovative technologies to modernize practices and get products faster to stakeholders. As an Executive Director, Business Information Management, Gaurang and his team lead the development of novel Medical Technologies for Botox Therapeutics, Eye Care and several neurological conditions. Additionally, Gaurang and his team continue to serve as domain director for R&D Aesthetics and , Medical Technology.
Gaurang Patel has been with Allergan/Abbvie for over 14 years working in various functional areas such as Business Development (Mergers & Acquisitions), R&D Project Management and Business Technology. He has spent a majority on his career in Biotech/Pharmaceutical Industry and has worked as a management consultant in both small and Future 500 companies.
Gaurang has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from University of California-Irvine and Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from Wayne State University. Personally, Gaurang is energized by meeting people, learning about culture and philosophy, playing volleyball, and speaking various languages.
