Katie Shepard is an entry-level Doctor of Occupational Therapy student at Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma. She is one of the research associates on a NIDILRR funded grant. She worked as a Graduate Research Assistant to the HESTIA team and primarily completed work for the myHESTIA app under Dr. Suzanne Burns. She gained valuable experience from my work on the Content Validity study for myHESTIA as well as participant action research (PAR).
