Sandra Fucile, is an an occupational therapist and assistant professor at the School of Rehabilitation Therapy, Queen's University (ON, Canada). Dr. Fucile’s research program focuses on improving the development, function, and quality of life of at-risk infants for sustaining neurodevelopmental disorders, in particular oral feeding disorders. The populations of interest are premature infants and infants with neonatal abstinence syndrome. Central to her program is the identification of neurodevelopmental biomarkers, development of innovative assessments tools and design of novel family-integrated intervention approaches to optimize the quality of life of at-risk infants and their families.
