Georgeann Booth earned her Bachelor’s in Biohealth Sciences from Oregon State University before working in neurology and then oncology clinical research. Now as a second-year medical student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine (UPSOM) she is involved in research in the areas of primary palliative care, bone marrow transplant outcomes, and access to health care for patients with disabilities. Additionally, Georgeann is interested in medical education and is involved in the ongoing UPSOM curriculum reform as well as implementation of a collaborative based learning initiative.
