Dr. Yousef Alshehre is a consultant physical therapist and an assistant professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at University of Tabuk in Saudi Arabia. His 12 plus year career in physical therapy includes clinical practice, education, and residency training. His professional experience in physical therapy has focused on orthopedic manual physical therapy working with adults in various out-patient settings. He received a B.S. degree in Physical Therapy from the Jordan University of Science and Technology, Jordan, an M.S. in Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh, USA, and a Ph.D. in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman's University, USA. In addition to being a licensed Physical Therapist, his research has examined the efficacy of therapeutic interventions for those with spinal pain. More recently, he is also interested in the effect of Telerehabilitation on chronic conditions. Dr. Alshehre’s is currently serving as a Vice Dean of Student Affairs for Students Activities and is the Supervisor of the Volunteer Activities Unit at the University of Tabuk.
