Jemma is a third-year Doctorate of Physical Therapy student at Saint Louis University (SLU). She received her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from SLU and is finishing up her final year in the direct admit PT Program. Upon DPT graduation in May, Jemma hopes to pursue a PhD in an interdisciplinary healthcare program with a focus on rehabilitation sciences and clinical intervention. Her current research work includes neuromuscular training and injury prevention in collegiate athletes and the intersection between motor and cognitive impairments in patients with neurodegenerative diseases.
