As a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy, Kayla has extensive experience with patients who suffer from vestibular dysfunction. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Kayla also holds leadership appointments with the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and the Neurologic Specialty Council for the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy. She also works closely with the Baylor Scott & White Research Institute to advance the field of concussion rehabilitation through clinical research.
As a vestibular physical therapist, Kayla is responsible for providing rehabilitation to adults, adolescents, and children ages five and above who are experiencing vertigo, dizziness, balance problems, or difficulty returning to physical activity. She is part of a multidisciplinary team, led by Dr. Erin Reynolds, at the Baylor Scott & White Sports Therapy & Research in Frisco, Texas.
