Jessica Jarvis is an assistant professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Pittsburgh. She has a clinical background as a music therapist and a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences. Her program of research centers on pediatric critical care rehabilitation and has 3 distinct lines of inquiry: characterizing trajectories of functional recovery for children and their families; evaluating equity in access to pediatric rehabilitation services, and developing and testing interventions to improve access to care and functional outcomes for chronically and critically ill children.
