Majaliwa Mzombwe MD is a PGY4 Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) resident with passion for interventional MSK and its role in rehab. Born in Bujumbura, Burundi but grew up in the Southern US, undergraduate at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Medical School at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, intern year Maimonides Medical Center, residency in PMR at the JHS / University of Miami School of Medicine. Current areas of professional interest include ultrasound, peripheral joint injections, interventional spine, regenerative medicine. Additional areas of interest include health care disparities and global health.
