See attachedAmanda Engler received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy with High Distinction from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in 2014. While attending UNMC she sought additional experiences in academic research. She worked on several ongoing research studies in the Integrative Physiology Department at UNMC and at Madonna Lincoln’s Movement Neuroscience Center. Amanda began working at Immanuel Rehabilitation Institute in 2014 and was appointed to the position of outpatient spinal cord injury specialist in 2015. Throughout her career as a physical therapist she has focused on the treatment of persons with neurological conditions. She was a clinical mentor for the Creighton University Neurological Physical Therapy Resident and assisted in formal physical therapy education at Creighton University as a laboratory assistant . In 2019 she became a Board-Certified Neurological Clinical Specialist which is awarded to clinicians that demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge, experience, and skills in the neurological practice area. In 2020 Amanda relocated to New Jersey to become a research physical therapist at the Kessler Foundation.
