I am interested in studying the measurement of functionality among older adults and those with disabilities. Specifically, I focus on improving the accessibility and utility of functional measures for use among older adults and people with disabilities. Through developing valid and adaptive measures of functionality, my overarching goal is to advance the longitudinal tracking of physical, psychological, and cognitive challenges faced by these populations and provide actionable feedback to be integrated into the healthcare system.
