Steven Wodzinski has a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. Mr. Wodzinski has worked in several capacities in the mental health field for the past 20 years. He has been a clinician, supervisor, and the director of a community program. Currently, he works at the Tampa VA with veterans. Areas of interest include the education of licensed counselors who treat clients with co-morbid chronic pain and mental health disorders, substance use disorders, and trauma.
Mr. Wodzinski holds several certifications which enable him to keep up with the latest knowledge in those areas. He is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), a Board Certified-TeleMental Health Provider (BC-TMH), and a Certified Addictions Professional (CAP).
Mr. Wodzinski believes in promoting counselor rights and identity. One way he does this is through membership in counseling organizations. Mr. Wodzinski has been a member of the American Counseling Association, Florida Mental Health Counselor Association (past treasurer), and Suncoast Mental Health Counselor Association (past membership committee chair). He has been the secretary for the Gulf Coast Mental Health Counselor’s Association. Mr. Wodzinski is also a member of Chi Sigma Iota, the International Honor Society for Counseling.
