Christina Debowski graduated from the University of St. Augustine in San Marcos, California, where she earned her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy. During her graduate studies, she partnered with the Ohio Domestic Violence Network (ODVN) to collaborate on incorporating occupational therapy principles within ODVN's existing CARE Framework. She continued her work with ODVN and Ohio State University as co-author on a manuscript outlining the CARE Framework's impact on domestic violence organization's trauma-informed practices. She currently works at Providence Mission Hospital in California as an inpatient acute occupational therapist.
