Dr. Nelson Glover recently earned his Ph.D. Mechanical Engineering at Ohio State University. His interest in biomechanics began because of his love of two things: mechanical engineering and sports. He has always loved sports, from basketball, baseball, soccer, and golf. While his graduate research focused on sports biomechanics and understanding the role of fatigue on injury risk in runners, he has also begun exploring the role of biomechanics in clinical settings. Nelson also has a passion for teaching and mentoring. He has been tutoring since high school, which fostered his interest in teaching and mentoring. He has continued to tutor and teach through his undergraduate and graduate school years and served as the instructor of record for a course in 2021. Nelson enjoys spending time with family and friends, binge-watching tv shows with his fantastic partner, playing recreational sports, and barbecuing.
